A while back we featured a post about the Delancy Underground project aka the Lowline. The project is for the creation of an underground public space in NYC’s Lower East Side in an old abandoned subway tunnel. Design site Inhabitat has a video showcasing this concept. They interview the people behind the project to find out why there’s so much interest in the public space – and whether it can become a reality.
