Well, the folks over at Fender now have you covered with their Guitar Builder Customization Program.

With the click of a few buttons and a slide or two of your mouse, you can build your own ideal ax with your own body color, pickup style, pickguard, and bridge type. You can also select your own neck and choose the inlays, fretboards, headstock, tuners, and bindings you want. Currently you can only customize their go-to electric guitar, the Stratocaster, but something tells me that you’ll soon be able to build your own stack, bass, and acoustic guitar soon.
