Instagram Instaglasses Concept by Markus Gerke

By now you’re probably aware that you can use Instagram to make smartphone photos appear more aesthetically pleasing using the app’s filters, but what if you could apply those filters to the world around you? That’s the concept behind these Instaglasses, developed by Berlin-based designer Markus Gerke.

The instructions are relatively straightforward: activate the pre-set filters on the lenses by pressing the “Insta button”, snap pictures using a built-in 5-megapixel camera, then upload straight to Instagram. As Gerke puts it, “Life is beautiful, even more beautiful with filters.” For those of you ready to add the device to your online shopping cart, bad news: the Instaphone concept will remain just that, a concept. via: Behance.
