By blending a dark base palette of black, navy and various browns with contrasting shocking pinks, electric blues and sunburst yellows, Lanvin’s Lucas Ossendrijver manages to impose his latest designs for 2012 spring/summer collection on this photoshoot for popular Japanese fashion magazine, SENSE. Subtle touches, such as the one-strap buttoned blazer and knit-effect printed sweater vest, have been applied to the classically tailored pieces, giving them a unique and modern quality. Although a slim-cut runs throughout most of the collection, an occasional over-sized top or jacket has been inserted to help bring a small amount of balance to the line.
