Puma’s “Bring Me Back” Recycling Program

PUMA is introducing a new way to turn nothing into something. The ‘Bring Me Back’ Program encourages recycling efforts by utilizing material from your old sneakers, used t-shirts and tote bags and using them to make new products.. PUMA says the program aims to:

mitigate the amount of virgin material that would otherwise be used to make new products.

It is easy and simple to participate, just take your used items to the nearest PUMA store and place them in the Bring Back Bin located in participating retail locations. In addition, the program has an added creative feature where you can write an obituary of your old pair of sneakers. Just add an image and submit it to be featured online to help incentivize participation and reward users for contributing to a greener environment.

So, if you have some old sneaker or a ratty tote bag lying around (chances are you do), perhaps its time to say goodbye with the comforting knowledge that it will soon return to the market in a new and improved form. What do you think about this new initiative by Puma?
