The Tattooed Poster: A Retrospective on 2011 by Chaos Crew Tattoo Studio

The concept of a year in review is nothing new, however, the people over at the Chaos Crew Tattoo studio in Munich have added a new twist to this concept. The Chaos Crew has developed a poster depicting famous events from 2011 and tattooed it on a large piece of calfskin stretched and placed on display between two panes of glass. The work showcases the crew’s creativity and craftsmanship.

Just as tattoo motives tell countless stories, we interwove the most important events of 2011 into one huge tattoo. History was tattooed onto calfskin to promote the art of tattooing in its most authentic form – on real skin.
